Timothy Zee

Tim is the Founder and Managing Partner of TZ Equity Partners, a private equity investment firm focusing on buyouts of stable, steady and scalable cash flow generative companies in Asia since 2022, which invested in 2025 in Altios Group, a global corporate service, advisory and finance business with 40 offices in 25 countries targeting international expansion for SMEs and mid-cap companies. Tim is non-executive Chairman -- Asia Pacific for the Altios and one of 15 Partners. Tim also serves on the Board of Advisors at HealthpointCapital, a New York-based private equity firm focused on the musculoskeletal sector, for over 20 years.

Prior to this, he was a managing director and private equity investor based in Singapore with PAG Asia Capital for 11 years. Tim served on the Board of Directors in Australia for Craveable Brands and The Cheesecake Shop. Before joining PAG in 2011, he held senior positions in direct investments, structured finance and investment banking with major global financial institutions including Barclays Capital, Salomon Smith Barney, GE Capital and Bank of America. Tim was also previously an adjunct professor at the Lee Kong Chian School of Business at Singapore Management University from 2012-2015.

Tim holds a BBA in Finance and International Business from The University of Texas at Austin and an MBA in Finance and Marketing from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Tim enjoys the sport of polo and plays primarily with Team Zee at the Singapore Polo Club. Tim translated to English and published Notes on Polo & Riding in 2020 in honor and in memory of Captain H. Laverne, who wrote the original unpublished manuscript in French on polo in 1938 and riding in 1923, but died in 1943 during the Second World War.

Tim currently resides in Singapore with his wife. Their son and daughter are in boarding school in New England and his elder twin daughters have their own careers and working abroad.
